About Us: The Associated Ministers Economic Network or AMEN, Incorporated is a diverse group of faith and community leaders whose collective vision is to improve the overall quality of life of the people and communities we serve. AMEN was established in 1998, and incorporated as a New Jersey non-profit organization

Our Mission: The brainchild of the Rev. Dr. Kenneth L. Saunders, Sr., AMEN’s mission is to pursue strategies and funding that support social and economic empowerment of ethnic minorities, especially chronically distressed urban communities. Specifically, AMEN partners with established programs whose goals and results are consistent with our mission. AMEN also engages with current and new partners to plan and implement projects focused on the emerging needs of our client communities.
Our Objectives:

To provide our New Jersey client communities cost-effective shopping alternatives for necessities that help stretch their disposable income. This includes actively seeking funding partners to promote and facilitate client access to bulk buying clubs, and attractive on-line shopping sites.

To provide a social media environment that facilitates linkage among our diverse faith-based and multicultural Affiliates, and provide client communities access to a variety of services offered by AMEN partners and affiliates—including access to local services directories, special events, news, etc.

To provide clients, such as former inmates, robust resources necessary to find constructive paths to better and more rewarding lives in their local communities. This includes seeking funding to provide resources to assist with areas such as transitional housing and budgeting assistance, employment and healthcare assistance, personal and spiritual development.
